Colombia has now seen its lowest coffee output in thirty years

To be reaping the lowest in coffee output in a thirty year time frame, surely, that has to say something about the position at which the economy stands, at least give some sort of an idea.
In three decades, Colombia's coffee production had been known to be of the lowest last year. This was all due to adverse weather conditions as well as low fertilizer use.
From about eleven and a half million, sixty kilogram bags in the year two thousand and eight, to seven million, eight hundred thousand bags last year, close to 32 percent, annual coffee production had fallen.
