    On the twentieth of July 1810, since declaring its independence, as well as achieving it in the year 1819, seven times has Colombia changed its name.

    Diverse are many a regional cultural tradition, and with a broad range of distinct groups which all have unique customs, as well as accents, social patterns, and even cultural adaptations.

    Into three categories, these groups are classified: in the interior, in the countryside, as well as in the coastal regions.

    Only elections, and sporting events, even beauty pageants, for a common goal, regional cultures unite.
