Eliot Jon Halverson is an American figure skater who is the defending US Junior National Champion. Did you know that he is actually a native Colombian? Yes, he is a native Colombian, adopted at age five months.
He started skating at age 6, and since then, started training for competitions. He was the 2006 US Novice National Champion, won bronzw medals at the 2006-07 season of the ISU Junior Grand Prix, and won the 2007 Nationals junior title. He also placed tenth in the 2007 World Junior Figure Skating Championships. He is a very successful figure skater that April 21, 2007 was declared as 'Eliot Halverson Day' in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he lives.
