how ironic? global warming may affect the one place that contributes the least to pollution

Global warming is such a disastrous thing. It is causing nothing but problems everywhere in the world, but surprisingly the one place where it is causing some of the least pollution in the entire face of the planet, is the very place that may be most severely affected by the global warming crisis.
Combined with the economic crisis in Columbia, the global warming issue is going to simply add to the travesty, and this country may become to resemble a daunting one in the near future if nothing is attempted in order to shift the current situation.
