Escape Artist; Quality of Life and Cost of Living in Bogota

By Sim Bartson at 10/06/07 09:06

This article by Russel Stanley at Escape Artists gives a great overview of living in Bogota. Many people think of Colombia has hot and tropical.

While that is true for many parts, Bogota is not tropical. As Russel points out, "Bogota's climate is spring-like every day of the year. Daytime temperatures average 68F deg. (19C), and at night it drops on to about 50Fdeg (10C). "

The reason of couse is because of the elevation of Bogota at about 9,000 feet about sea level.

Check out his article for a good overview of the cost of living, food, clothing, fast food (ugh), housing, transportation and more.
