In the Human Development Index, Colombia improved five positions

Now ranking as number seventy seven in the entire world, is Columbia, climbing to the group of countries that were all classified with High Human Development.
This is actually according to the Human Development Report of 2009, that had been issued by the United Nations Development Program.
The average achievements in life expectancy at birth had been measured by the Human Development Index, where focus is on adult literacy rates, as well as on enrollment in different levels of education, and even dignified life, when speaking in terms of income per capita and purchasing power.
