Garcia Marquez, regarded as the Latin American Master of Narrative. He also won the Nobel Prize for literature in 1982.He wandered around the world and in his later life, lived mostly in Mexico City. His grand creations One Hundred Years of Solitude, 1970, his best known work, Love In The Time Of Cholera in 1985 shows his main theme of violence, solitude, and the never ending need of man for love. Eliot Jon Halverson is an American figure skater who is the defending US Junior National Champion. Did you know that he is actually a native Colombian? Yes, he is a native Colombian, adopted at age five months.He started skating at age 6, and since then, started training for competitions. He was the 2006 US Novice National Champion, won bronzw medals at the 2006-07 season of the ISU Junior Grand Prix, and won the 2007 Nationals junior title. He also placed tenth in the 2007 World Junior Figure Skating Championships.
