the expat exchange, exchanges tips for living in Columbia

Tips for living in Columbia are shared in plentiful quantities between members of the Expat exchange. They talk about befriending locals, carrying little cash, learning to speak Spanish as well as simply getting everything done, that they need to get photocopied.
On our country forums, a series of threads had begun in the later half of November. The threads were entitled, "10 Tips for Living in..."
There could never really be enough tips on such a subject matter, and we are grateful for all of the tips that were contributed by readers.
