Two Colombias in one remarkable year. 2008 is undoubtedly one of the most momentous years in Colombia's recent history. Two Colombias have emerged: one that has made a lasting impact on the FARC's backbone in the continent, eventually saving former Presidential candidate Ingrid Betancourt; or the other Colombia mired in "false positive" scandals involving innocent people intentionally killed to be presented as enemy casualties, and pyramid schemes. Which can be remembered?
